Since 1956 (52 years) on State St in New Haven
What is your primary product or service?
Dry Cleaning and Shirt Laundry is our main business, yet we are full service and also perform the following: Leather and suede cleaning; cleaning of quilts, comforters, blankets, sleeping bags, rugs, futon covers, slip covers, drapes; We do tailoring and sewing repairs; seasonal box storage; FREE residential pick up/delivery in surrounding towns.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Jet is a 3rd generation family business, currently run by Mike Amore Jr. Mike is a Quinnipiac University grad and also a CPA.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are fast and convenient and have a pleasant customer service staff. We have on site FREE parking. Annually voted best Dry Cleaner in the area.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one retail location, yet provide FREE PICK UP/DELIVERY to the following towns though Cleaner Options: Branford, Guilford, Madison, Shoreline East Haven, No. Branford, Wallingford, Middlefield, Cheshire, Prospect, North Haven, Hamden (Ridge Rd Area), Woodbridge, Orange, Shelton, Milford, Fairfield.
