Creating dynamic Jewish life at Yale
Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale, home to Yale Hillel and Young Israel House at Yale, is a self-supporting non-profit that serves Yale students, faculty and staff, and the greater New Haven community, by providing cultural, intellectual, religious and social programs. Kosher food, guest lectures, classes, concerts, art exhibits, film festivals, teas, study breaks, Israeli dance classes, conferences, holiday celebrations, and religious services are among the activities regularly sponsored at the center. Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale currently serves over 4,000 people each year in a variety of ways.
